The first incident/event I want to throw out to the public is the fact that most of the mid-thirty year old moms I interact with through athletics, dance, school groups, and sports act like they are still in high school!
I have run into several "mean girls" who will befriend each person they come in contact with and act as if they are besties for several weeks/months until they have their fill. Then these women drop the other like a bad habit without any notice. Excuses that have been presented are: "we spend too much time together", "my kids have other friends now", "I don't like the way your husband dresses", and even "you just can't do all the things we can financially"! Who are these people? What happened to being kind to everyone? What example are they setting for their children? The worst part is that many of women know that this has happened, because words spreads quickly in suburban-ville, and they still want to be friends with said "mean girl". WHY????
At this point, I have written off several women and just try to say hello and only keep small talk when interacting with them due to the fact they are only worried about the BBD. (bigger, better, deal)
Speaking of the BBD.... well let's save that for the next post.
Welcome to my blog! Being a working mother of three has put me in some interesting, funny, and disappointing positions over the past 9 years. I finally have decided to share these events and their outcomes. Feel free to comment if these situations have happened to you (to help me keep my sanity), or let me know if they only happen in suburbanville where we live!
